Wedding Photography at Old Marylebone Town Hall
There’s something effortlessly romantic about a wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall. It’s stylish, intimate, and full of charm – the perfect setting for modern couples looking for a refined London ceremony. Grace and Christian asked me to capture their wedding day, and it was every bit as joyful, heartfelt, and beautifully curated as you’d expect from such a chic pair.
A Stylish Ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall
Old Marylebone Town Hall is one of London’s most iconic registry offices. Its central location and timeless architecture make it a go-to for couples wanting a classic London wedding. Grace and Christian chose the Soho Room for its natural light and soft neutral tones – elegant, simple, and perfect for photography.
Following their emotional ceremony, we had around 10 minutes for portraits inside the building before heading out to the iconic steps for the confetti shot (a must at Marylebone!). Grace and Christian absolutely nailed it – joyful, vibrant, and full of laughter. We then wandered through nearby London streets for a few relaxed portraits, stopping at red telephone boxes and Regent Crescent for some beautiful London moments.
London Wedding Reception Spots with Personality
After saying “I do,” the couple travelled in true London style – by black cab – to their reception. First stop: Farmshop, where guests were welcomed with champagne, elegant canapés, and an intimate atmosphere perfect for catching up and soaking in the moment. From there, we made our way to The Audley, where guests and the newlyweds enjoyed champagne – and, of course, a perfect pint of Guinness. After all, would it really be a London wedding without one?
The celebration continued at Mount St. Restaurant in their striking yellow-walled Italian room. With a separate cocktail bar for pre-dinner drinks, the setting was bold, elegant, and full of personality – just like the couple. Every detail felt intentional, from the room layout to the joyful energy shared between friends and family.
